“1010 for 2010” PROJECT THUSANG
22 May 2010
Venua: Delta Park Primary School in Blairgowrie,
Project Thusang (means “assist” in Sesotho)
Project Thusang started in 2000 with a mere 30 children attending a fun-filled day, where they could play different games and claim magical prizes. Project Thusang has since grown from over 350 children attending in 2006, to over 700 children attending the past 2 years.
The main objective of Project Thusang is to raise funds to create a fun-filled day for disadvantaged children in the Johannesburg area. ONE day in a year where they could play various games to their hearts’ content and claim magical prizes. It must be an unforgettable experience to which they can refer to as being the “best days of their lives!”
In line with the 2010 FIFA world cup fever the organizing committee has adopted the slogan ”1010 for 2010”. In 2010, it is our goal to host 1010 disadvantaged children. The Biggest and BEST Thusang ever!
We can only achieve this goal with your involvement and sponsorships. We would like to thank you for your involvement in the past and contributing to the HUGE successes over the previous years. Without your contributions and involvement, Project Thusang would not have been able to provide memorable experiences to these underprivileged children.
